Richmond, VA, November 4, 2015 – AdvanceTEC, a leader in cleanroom design, construction and process integration, today announced that it has been selected as a specialty subcontractor to provide cGMP cleanroom design and construction for Pfizer’s new SVP Facility. AdvanceTEC is a key part of the project team led by Jacobs Engineering and Jacobs Field Service North America. The New SVP Facility is a part of the Rocky Mount, North Carolina campus formerly owned by Hospira, a leading provider of injectable drugs and infusion technologies and a global leader in biosimilars, recently acquired by Pfizer.
AdvanceTEC was selected for the project following a highly competitive evaluation process, which highlighted their “intelligent” 3D BIM modeling capabilities, advanced cGMP cleanroom experience, and team approach to the project. AdvanceTEC’s project deliverables include of complete 3D BIM modeling, design and construction, and integration of the cGMP architectural systems, including uPVC walls, walkable panelized ceilings, doors & door operations. AdvanceTEC will also provide full 3D BIM modeling coordination and leadership of the MEP and process trades within the cleanroom and the interstitial space above the cleanroom.
