Richmond, VA, December 8, 2021 – AdvanceTEC, the leader in cleanroom design, construction, and mission-critical process integration, today announced that the company has completed another integrated project delivery cleanroom project for a leading EPCM innovator and leading cell & gene therapy CDMO in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. AdvanceTEC utilized LEAN tools to complete the project ahead of schedule and under budget. As a part of this project, AdvanceTEC was responsible for addressing process integration requirements as well as turn-key design-build cleanroom construction requirements for gene therapy, cell therapy, and single-use disposable manufacturing platforms.
AdvanceTEC was selected for this critical project based on the company’s demonstrated ability to successfully execute fast-track projects providing certainty of cost, schedule, and performance. Key to delivering this project was AdvanceTEC’s offsite prefabrication facility. This strategic capability leverages prefabrication, preassembly, modularization, and offsite fabrication (PPMOF) to reduce risks, increase safety and quality, as well as enhance site logistics and JIT onsite installation.
“AdvanceTEC is honored once again to work with a pioneer in single-use and gene therapy technologies,” noted Bryan Phelan, AdvanceTEC managing partner, and director of customers. “This was an incredible team effort. It was great to see the members of the team push themselves individually and as a group to hit our original committed dates for turn-over and validation.”
