Richmond, VA, February 2, 2017 – AdvanceTEC, a leader in cleanroom engineering, design, construction and process integration, today announced that it has completed the design/build of EMD Performance Materials’ advanced chemical lab in Branchburg, New Jersey. EMD (formerly AZ Electronic Materials), a business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, will use the facility for nanoscale materials research sciences for solutions in photo-resist and other high precision materials applications.

The completion of the latest “clean” lab for EMD marks the latest in a string of successful projects for the two companies. The strong, collaborative relationship developed through these projects was key to the completion of the Branchburg chemical lab on budget and ahead of schedule.
